Service Description
Enroll in six private weekly sessions designed for a young cook who wants professional guidance, stronger kitchen habits, confidence, safety, mise en place, technique, seasoning, timing, menu development, and plating. Chef D.J. Mendivel—an executive chef and father—adapts instruction respectfully for different learning styles and sensory needs. Tuition is $975; ingredients are billed separately.
Cancellation Policy
Complimentary consultation requests do not reserve an event date and carry no service fee. An event date is secured only after the proposal is accepted and the required deposit is received. Deposits are non-refundable unless Chef Mendivel cancels, but their value may be transferred once to a future service with reasonable notice and subject to availability. Final guest count, dietary restrictions, allergies, accessibility needs, venue details, and menu decisions are due by the deadline stated in the proposal. Young Chef Mentorship tuition is $975; ingredient costs are billed separately.
